Help & setup

Everything you and your Slack admins need to get playing.

Back to home
๐ŸŽฎ How it works
  1. 1

    Sign in with Slack

Choose the workspace you want to play with. Slack will ask you to pick one if you belong to several.

  2. 2

    One-time workspace setup

The first person installs Trombingo for everyone. Some companies require a Slack admin to approve this once.

  3. 3

    Play and compete

Signing in creates your player account. Scores go on the workspace leaderboard, and roster photos are fetched live from Slack.

๐Ÿ” Admin approval

If sign-in was blocked, share these steps with your Slack admin.

  1. Open Slack โ†’ Settings & administration โ†’ Manage apps.
  2. Search for Trombingo or approve the pending install request.
  3. Allow users:read โ€” it only reads names and profile photos.
  4. Teammates can sign in and play immediately after approval.

Admins approve once. Later logins are a quick identity check on Slack.

๐ŸŒ Multiple workspaces

Belong to several Slack organizations? You can connect them all to Trombingo and jump between them โ€” no signing out required.

  • Use the workspace switcher in the top-right to change the active workspace instantly.
  • Pick Connect workspace there to add another org (you'll authorize it with Slack once).
  • Each workspace keeps its own roster and its own leaderboard.
  • Your workspaces are linked by your Slack email, so they all show up in one place.
